About Me
Resilience and Restoration
As a therapist, I understand the unique challenges and pressures that high-achieving BIPOC women face in their personal and professional lives. My mission is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, heal from past traumas, and develop strategies to thrive.
My Approach:
I take an integrative approach, drawing from various evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and trauma-focused treatments. My goal is to tailor our work to your specific needs and cultural background, ensuring that you feel seen, heard, and understood.
Areas of Focus:
While I work with a range of concerns, I specialize in supporting high-achieving Black women who are navigating:
Trauma and racial trauma
Depression and anxiety
Racial stress and micro-aggressions
Imposter syndrome and self-doubt
Burnout and work-life balance
My Background :
I received a MSW in clinical social work at The Silberman School of Social Work in New York City. I also completed post graduate training in Eriksonian Hypnosis at the Brooklyn Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. Additionally I have completed advanced training in multicultural counseling and trauma treatment (EMDR). As a Black woman, I deeply resonate with the challenges my clients face in predominantly white, high-pressure environments.
Take the First Step :
I understand that seeking therapy can be a courageous act, especially when dealing with cultural stigma and personal barriers. I'm here to listen without judgment and provide the guidance and support you need to heal, grow, and thrive.
