I strive to create a safe, welcoming and judgment-free therapeutic space, where you are supported on your journey to creating peace and resilience in your life. I have over 12 years of experience as a psychotherapist, supporting diverse clients, as they navigate life’s stressors.
Helping clients develop their inner-strength, heal, and learn how to trust themselves, to tell their own story is an important part of my work. As a multicultural woman, I especially want to create a safe and nurturing space where BIPOC and AAPI clients, LGBTQ+ clients, women, and immigrants and children of immigrants can uncover, develop, and nurture the best version of themselves.
I work with adult individuals of all ages facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, pregnancy, postpartum and parenting, adjustment, achievement, identity, illness, trauma, grief and loss, substance use recovery, and interpersonal relationships. I also support couples, both straight and LGBTQ+, with developing tools and awareness to improve their interactions. Whether they desire to strengthen their connection and grow together as a couple, or mindfully and compassionately separate, I collaborate with them to help them develop a sense of healing, kindness and empowerment as partners and individuals.
I welcome your culture, heritage and spirituality to be part of our therapeutic space. I draw from a variety of approaches, including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy, to create a therapeutic experience that addresses your individual needs and goals. I honor you as the expert on your life and partner with you to achieve the growth that you desire. Although the challenges in your life may be the catalyst to begin therapy, I also want us to honor your unique strengths as we work together to help you feel empowered and capable.
